Will Smith movie NOW CASTING

A new movie starring Will Smith will start filming in October, and you have a chance to score a role.
Men who are between the ages of 18 and 30 and have football experience are needed as paid extras in the yet-to-be-named movie. Current high school or college football players are not eligible.
A casting call is scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 4 at Bethel Park High School. Anyone who's interested should show up with cleats and athletic wear for running drills. If hired, the pay is $250 for one rehearsal day and $400 for one day of filming.
More men and women of at least age 18 are needed as background extras to play the following types of roles:
  • Lawyers
  • Press
  • Ballroom attendees
  • Pedestrians
  • Office types
  • Pro football administration
  • Pittsburgh pro football fans
  • Dance club patrons
  • Men who appear to be ex-football players in their 30s-50s (tall, bigger build)
  • African-American church congregation

The movie is about NFL players and head injuries, and is based on a story called "Game Brain" that appeared in GQ magazine in 2009. Smith will play Dr. Bennet Omalu, a former Allegheny County forensic pathologist who was the first to diagnose chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in a pro football player.
